Registration is now available for GNBVTI’s Spring 2024 courses! Whether you’re looking to renew your license or explore a new hobby, we have a variety of classes available for you. Please visit our program page for more information.

In the Fall of 2023, we completed our 200-hour Career Technical Initiative (CTI) program in Culinary Arts and Automotive Technology. This spring we are offering CTI programs in Welding and Marine Technology! These courses train students using hands-on techniques, making this a great experience for people planning to join welding or marine careers. These courses prepare you with the OSHA-10, Hot Works, and Yamaha certifications. This course provides students with resources, techniques, skills, and knowledge before entering the field. More information about these courses is available on our website and in our Spring Brochure.

We offer a variety of courses at Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical Institute. We provide 8-10 week courses in Conversational Portuguese, Microsoft Office, Millwork, Furniture Refinishing, Everyday Cooking the Culinary Way, Basic Electricity for the Homeowner, EKG Technician, Ophthalmic Assistant, and more. Secure your spot now by signing up for any of our courses. You can do so by visiting our website, email gnbvti@gnbvt.edu, or calling 508-998-3321 Ext. 195! Brochures are available to download on our website.

For those who need extra help or knowledge with Microsoft Office, our course will teach you the basics of Windows and Office programs such as Word and Excel. For those who missed it, the canvas painting class with Debbie Macy is open again for spring. Whether you are a beginner painter with no prior art experience or a veteran, all skill levels are welcome to participate and have a good time! If you missed the Everyday Cooking class last semester, you’ll be happy to know that it has returned this semester. It’s a great opportunity to learn recipes with the guidance of a professional chef. Millwork and Woodwork & Refinishing have also returned to course selection for the spring. For more information about any courses, please view their appropriate page on our home page or navigation bar!
