Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical Institute’s Mission is to prepare students for the future and develop graduates into tomorrow’s workforce.
The Mission and Goals are organized around three core values; Preparation, Passion, and Perseverance. Currently, the GNBVTI offers evening programs including Art, Carpentry, Culinary Arts, Foreign Language, Medical, and Welding. In addition, there are several evening continuing education/licensure courses including Construction Supervisors, Electrical, OSHA, Plumbing, and Steam Engineering. Lastly, we are a Ch.74 Post-Secondary program and work with the Greater New Bedford Workforce Board and Commonwealth Corporation’s Career Technical Initiative (CTI) to provide training in evenings and weekends to unemployed, under-employed and recent high school graduates. GNBVTI has something to offer for everyone!
