Materials List:

• Turpenoid (odorless thinner)
• Linseed Oil
• 2 Small Containers w/Lids (like baby food jars)
• Paper Towels and/or Rags
• Palette (either palette PAD of disposable papers, wooded, Plexiglas or container w/lid similar to a food deli container)

Paints:

• Required
  • Titanium White or Permalba White (my favorite)
  • Ivory Black
  • Cadmium Red Medium (or deep)
  • Lemon Yellow
  • Ultramarine Blue
• Optional
  • Sap Green
  • Permanent Green Light
  • Alizarin Crimson
  • Cerulean Blue
  • Burnt Sienna
  • Yellow Ochre
  • Raw Sienna
  • Raw Umber

Brushes: (3 of each kind ideal!)

• A couple of “Flats”
  • Sharp edge
  • ½ to as small as you want
• One or two “Filberts”
  • Fingernail shaped
• Some “Rounds” for detail
  • Zero to 18 zero

Canvas or Canvas Board:

• Stretch or flat canvas board (cheaper by the pack)
  • 8×10, 11×14, 16×20, 18×24

or

• Any of the hard surfaces they NOW SELL for oil acrylics
• Not too BIG – 18×24 tops!!
