The purpose of this course is to provide the student with an understanding of basic home wiring. discussed are areas such as electrical terminology, wire size, splicing, light boxes, and panels.

Electrical License students need to supply their own code books.  Also, all students should consider to take the EL-06 for their CPR / First Aid professional development requirements.

ELJ-1A/B- Class A (Journeyman) 1-150 Hours of 600 clock hours of classroom instruction – Modules 1 & 2 of 8 per 237 CMR 22.01

ELJ-2A/B – Class A (Journeyman) 151-300 Hours of 600 clock hours of classroom instruction – Modules 3 & 4 of 8 per 237 CMR 22.01

ELJ-3A/B – Class A (Journeyman) 301-450 of 600 clock hours of classroom instruction – Modules 5 & 6 of 8 per 237 CMR 22.01

ELJ-4A/B – Class A (Journeyman) 451-600 of 600 clock hours of classroom instruction – Modules 7 & 8 of 8 per 237 CMR 22.01

EL-MA/B – Class A (Master) 1-150 of 150 clock hours of classroom instruction – Module 2 of 2 per 237 CMR 22.02

Student must complete 75 hours. 84 hours will be available meaning students are allowed to miss no more than 3 classes. Students that do not complete 75 hours will not be given a certificate.
